Changes are happening

The joint, consortia bid for a service contract is feeling back on track. Last week, I was stuck. I was doing the same things, approaching the problem from the same angle. The results were not going to be great.
Friday was a break through. I involved a colleague to help me look at this work from different perspectives, consider different angles and strategise.
Wow. What a change a week has made!
I am now positioned as the glue between all the organisations involved. I am providing a solid foundation, a comforting arm they can come back to when feeling stressed.
I have handed the detailed work to a colleague leaving me time to manage the people side of the work.
A word here, a discussion there, at the most opportune moment to keep everyone heading toward the same goal, ensuring the belief is there, challenge constraints and assumptions. That is my job. Like a potter shaping their clay.
Oh yes, now I am buzzing again. This is my area. Supporting others.
Thank you everyone that has stepped in to remove the shackles and baggage to allow me to do this role, you are all amazing.
