Top leadership tips #2

Optimism

Optimistic leaders have a vision. They know where they are going and can describe it. Like you and me, their journey has bumps and dips, twists and turns. At these points the optimistic leaders see the benefit in every situation, they learn along the way and they focus on moving to the next task.

Top tips

  • When negative things happen talk about it as a temporary glitch, a result which is not personal, has external factors, and just happened and as a temporary problem.
  • Build a belief that happiness and success is your normal state. Negative events are just temporary glitches on your journey to success
  • When things do not work (and this will happen). Focus on what you can do (actions) NOW to move forward (to avoid drowning in emotion)
Finally,a quote by Mohammed Ali "If they can make penicillin out of moldy bread, they can sure make something out of you."

Until next time....
